About the blogger

What currently occupies my time is a Masters degree in Global Media Communications at the University of Melbourne, Australia.

My blog  focuses on my interest in globalization and what this means for today’s media, in particular the mesmerising www and our Information Society era. My pet interest though is cultural globalization and musing on the osmosis effect of the world’s cultures.

I love far-flung places having lived in four continents to date so don’t be surprised if my inspiration comes from anywhere!

I’ve also suppressed the urge to write about cricket, my first love, but I feel another blog coming on!

When I’m not obsessing about cricket, I’m socialising with friends and family, dining out, dancing, on Guardian Unlimited or the Beeb, watching other sports, lying on a beach, watching films or indulging in my new fad True Blood.
